		<description>tron legacy
In 2010 I came up with a new music concept. Taking it one step further into the future. I was very close to actually making it big with this, but sometimes it just don't work out.

Tron: Legacy is a 2010 American science fiction film released by Walt Disney Pictures. A sequel to the 1982 science fiction film Tron, it is directed by Joseph Kosinski, produced by Tron director Steven Lisberger, and written by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.

The cast includes the return of actors Jeff Bridges - as Kevin Flynn and CLU - and Bruce Boxleitner - as Alan Bradley and Tron - along with Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen, and James Frain.

The story follows Flynn's son Sam (Hedlund), who after responding to a message from his long-lost father is transported into a virtual reality called the Grid. In the Grid, Sam, his father, and the algorithm Quorra (Wilde), are forced to stop the malevolent program CLU from invading the human world.

The French electronic group Daft Punk composed the film score of Tron: Legacy, which features over 24 tracks. The score was arranged and orchestrated by Joseph Trapanese. Jason Bentley served as the film's music supervisor.

An electronic music fan, Kosinski stated that to replicate the innovative electronic Tron score by Wendy Carlos "rather than going with a traditional film composer, I wanted to try something fresh and different", adding that "there was a lot of interest from different electronic bands that I follow to work on the film" but he eventually picked Daft Punk.

This has nothing to do with Tron Legacy or Disney, it's just a concept.</description>

		<description>spotify
Got a quick assignment to make my own version of the upcoming Spotify iPad app. Made this in 10 hours, but I still like it. It's very dark and simple.

&#60;img src="http://payload41.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3125361/spotify_ipad_small.jpg" width="440" height="330" width_o="440" height_o="330" src_o="http://payload41.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3125361/spotify_ipad_small_o.jpg" data-mid="15967899"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

New Releases (bigger image)

Spotify is a music streaming service offering streaming of selected music from a range of major and independent record labels, including Sony, EMI, Warner Music Group, and Universal. Launched in October 2008 by Swedish startup Spotify AB, the service had approximately ten million users as of 15 September 2010, about 2.5 million of whom were paying members. As of March 2012, the service is available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Playlist (bigger image)

Users can set up playlists and share them, or edit them together with other users (see collaborative software). For this purpose the playlist link can directly be dragged into an email or an instant messaging window. If the recipient follows the link, the playlist will be downloaded into the Spotify-client of the recipient. Downloaded playlists will then auto-update if the author adds or removes tracks. Like normal links, the playlist links can be used everywhere. The same principle also works for single tracks, which can be used via drag and drop on applications and websites at will. There are a number of websites for sharing of Spotify playlists and songs where users can share, rate and discuss them.

Visit their website here.

		<description>circle obsession
I had some obsession with circles for a while in 2009. So here are two themes that I feel a little weirdly happy about.

A circle is a simple shape of Euclidean geometry consisting of those points in a plane that are a given distance from a given point, the centre. The distance between any of the points and the centre is called the radius.

Circles are simple closed curves which divide the plane into two regions: an interior and an exterior. In everyday use, the term "circle" may be used interchangeably to refer to either the boundary of the figure, or to the whole figure including its interior; in strict technical usage, the circle is the former and the latter is called a disk.
A circle can be defined as the curve traced out by a point that moves so that its distance from a given point is constant.

A circle may also be defined as a special ellipse in which the two foci are coincident and the eccentricity is 0. Circles are conic sections attained when a right circular cone is intersected by a plane perpendicular to the axis of the cone.

The word "circle" derives from the Greek, kirkos "a circle," from the base ker- which means to turn or bend. The origins of the words "circus" and "circuit" are closely related.

The circle has been known since before the beginning of recorded history. Natural circles would have been observed, such as the Moon, Sun, and a short plant stalk blowing in the wind on sand, which forms a circle shape in the sand. The circle is the basis for the wheel, which, with related inventions such as gears, makes much of modern civilisation possible.

In mathematics, the study of the circle has helped inspire the development of geometry, astronomy, and calculus.

Early science, particularly geometry and astrology and astronomy, was connected to the divine for most medieval scholars, and many believed that there was something intrinsically "divine" or "perfect" that could be found in circles.

Here are some older work that I've done through the last 5 years. I've changed drastically since I started out. And it's fun to see the progression.

2008-2009

I started to experiment more with lights and colors. Learning some new techniques and shared them to others in form of tutorials.

2007

This year was full of experiments. I did a lot of black and white and also tried to incorporate typographies nicely into my work. Layers became easier to understand and I got more patience. The file sizes got bigger and bigger with layers up to 200.

2006

Everything started to become more fun. I felt like I knew what I was doing and could execute my ideas on a basic level. Didn't know that this could actually be a job at the time. I just did it because it was fulfilling and exciting.

2005

We all got to start somewhere. For me that was when I didn't have a job after finishing school. I got bored and started to play around in Photoshop. It was fun I guess. When my friend started to learn me som more techniques and showed me what he had done, I became competitive. I wanted to be better than him. So I practiced a couple of hours each day for 6 months. The results was enough for me to keep on going.

GRA is a creative group of Roman designers established in September 2005. The name is taken from the Grande Raccordo Anulare, a 70-kilometre highway of asphalt and traffic that surrounds Rome.

An imperfect circle with 33 exits, entering the centre or exiting toward the surrounding suburbs, countryside and communities which are now part of the urban fabric of the capital city. It is the meeting point which connects both the inner and outer parts of the city, a post-modern surrounding no longer defends against invaders, but serves to bring together and connect the countless turmoils that animate the capital.

G.R.A. becomes GRA - Genuine Roman Art: a new way of creating art, in search of an original artistic graphic dimension, the most modern technical expression.

&#60;img src="http://payload35.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3004061/new_o_440.jpg" width="440" height="292" width_o="670" height_o="446" src_o="http://payload35.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3004061/new_o_o.jpg" data-mid="15309948"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

It is our attempt to awaken the cultural scene of Rome, for a long time in a sort of hybernation, dorment in its reflection in the Fontanone, too busy to say “how beautiful I am!”, to seize the novelty that begins to show under the thin coat of a picture postcard.

The medium chosen is the digital graphic technique, a communicative language that forms an artistic representation. Pixel can be considered as the tool of the current art form.

But it is also a question of “style”: a modern graphic style that Italy lacks, especially Rome. GRA would like to promote the pursuit of an artistic trait of common lines that can be identified as an Italian graphic style.

&#60;img src="http://payload35.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3004061/IMG_0071_o_440.jpg" width="440" height="293" width_o="850" height_o="567" src_o="http://payload35.cargocollective.com/1/0/1459/3004061/IMG_0071_o_o.jpg" data-mid="15309945"  border="0" align="left"/&#62;

The importance is not the answer, but to question and set in motion in the search that originates only from the confrontation and interaction between artists. In the collective exhibitions of GRA, the participants interpret a particular theme confronting a specific subject, which each artist interprets in his own way.

The works shown in the collective exhibitions are therefore individual artworks different one from the other, but linked together by a common theme. In this way, the young graphic artists taking part in the GRA projects gain a new visibility, the possibility to become known and know, in their turn, the creations of other artists.

GRA is also a graphic design studio and was launched by four professional graphic designers to promote the study of corporate identity, logotype design, websites, advertisement and promotion; it specializes in the organization of events through exhibitions and competitions linked to digital graphic art.

		<description>dare devils
This is a roleplaying game where you get a new identity to play with and a mission.

Who's it for?
People who likes to have fun and who are not afraid of making a fool out of themselves. But on the other hand... it’s for the shy people as well. Dare to have fun with your friends.

How does it work?
You take on a new identity in form of a name and a career. On top of that you can also choose to do the mission.

The task is to walk up to someone and present yourself as the new you. The one who does it the best or funniest wins. The rules are up to the players.

“We wanted a site that would be a dynamic and an engaging experience for clients and consumers alike,” said Mr. Townsend. “This redesign embodies the soul of today’s Condé Nast: its indispensible editorial, exceptional talent, cutting-edge client services and a legacy that is second to none.”

The redesign delivers clients and consumers a fresh, vibrant experience unlike any other corporate site in the industry. Aided by easy navigation, visitors can access a steady flow of editorial content in addition to enhanced company and brand details, advertising, licensing and partnership marketing information, career opportunities and talent features. The site also provides details about the Condé Nast Media Group’s divisions, capabilities, and multi-platform program case studies. The site was developed in conjunction with Your Majesty Co.

Condé Nast is home to some of the world’s most celebrated media brands. In the United States, Condé Nast publishes 18 consumer magazines, four business-to-business publications, 27 websites, and more than 50 apps for mobile and tablet devices, all of which define excellence in their categories. The company also owns Fairchild Fashion Media (FFM), whose portfolio of brands serves as the leading source of news and analysis for the global fashion community. Condé Nast has won more National Magazine Awards over the past ten years than all of its competitors combined.

Afingo is the Ultimate Designer Resource. Gain access to expert content, insider tools and industry connections to take your ideas from sketch to sale.

Afingo was started in 2009 by a fashion consultant, as an online social network for the fashion community. After two prior product launches, the team at Afingo hired us for an overhaul of their web product. Conversations which initially started as an exploration of a design refresh, grew into a branding, product definition, content strategy, user experience and interface design project.
